Profile Terry Simpson is the Founder of Rock Advisory Group, a firm focused on creating and implementing profitable growth strategies. He has over 15 years of experience with strategic planning, operations, business development, people strategy, M&A, geographic expansion and corporate board activity. Utilizing his international network of real estate, construction and professional service firms, he has direct hands-on experience leading and implementing strategic growth initiatives and organizational change. He is a former senior partner and board member of Atwell-Hicks, a past member of the Detroit Regional Chamber’s Board of Advisers, an SMPS Past President and current Board of Influence member and former Alumni Control Board President for Delta Sigma Phi. He has been actively involved in the Urban Land Institute, Association for Corporate Growth, Corporate Real Estate Network (CORENET) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Terry has served as key-note speaker or moderator for over 25 events across the country. SMPS, ICSC, Zweig White and Land Development Today are just a few of the organizations he has presented to. He has his MBA in Finance, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Sales and a Minor in communications.
Tony Woodall is a Principal of Rock Advisory Group. He has over 12 years experience launching new business ventures and leading corporate growth initiatives. He draws upon a broad range of skills and experiences in the areas of marketing and communications, strategic planning, branding, people strategy, business development, research, operational strategy, entrepreneurial investing and executive-level management. In addition to serving Rock Advisory Group clients, he is a Senior Partner with Providence Composite Technologies; a manufacturer of composite materials used on LEED™ certified construction projects. Tony is a thought leader and board member of various faith-based community organizations and has served as a key-note speaker, moderator and panelist of numerous events. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and has pursued post-graduate work in community affairs and theology.
William Anderson is a Principal of Rock Advisory Group and brings over 20 years of experience with professional service firms, real estate development and municipal government. Bill was a senior partner and board member of Atwell-Hicks where he led program management and technical leadership capabilities for a nationally expanding business model as well as M&A integration and senior client maintenance. Prior to that, Bill was the youngest director of a utility in the State of Michigan when he served as the Director of Public Services for Northville Township, Michigan. In that capacity, Bill was responsible for public utility operation and maintenance, engineering services, building inspection, and he also developed a comprehensive utility cash flow forecasting model. Bill is a licensed professional engineer and has a MBA and Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University. |
